In 1950, in England, the peaceful life of the chicken coop seems to please its residents. But Ginger does not share her fellow chickens’ view: she dreams of wide open spaces and a life of liberty. When a free and solo cowboy rooster, Rocky, lands in the farmyard, she sees in him the savior of all the chickens.
