Led by Matthieu Darras, the Full Circle Lab accompanies four film projects connected to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region throughout their development, postproduction, and promotion in order to highlight their creative vision and encourage their international potential. Co-directed by Alexis Hofmann and Myriam Sassine, the Full Circle Lab Nouvelle-Aquitaine will stop off in Poitiers during the Festival.

Friday, Dec. 2 | 10am to 1pm

The twelve filmmakers selected to participate in the Jump In workshops and Full Circle Lab will present their projects, currently in the development stage, to a panel of professional industry guests. An opportunity for them to put their films to the test and present the fruit of their workshops to a select audience. All of the professional guests will be able to schedule meetings in the afternoon with these directors and producers in order to continue the conversation.

Collectif des Festivals de Cinéma et d’Audiovisuel de Nouvelle-Aquitaine

The Collective for Film and Audiovisual Festivals in Nouvelle-Aquitaine was created in spring 2020 and now includes 14 festivals. It was designed to bring heads together, complementary to the work already being done by the “Carrefour des festivals” on a national level. Since 2021, the Collective has been inciting reflection on the necessary social and environmental evolution of festivals by organizing thematic think-tank days regarding supplies, movement, and carbon compensation. For the 45th edition of the Poitiers Film Festival, the members of the Collective are coming together to evaluate this first season and prepare the working themes for 2023.

Cinémas Indépendants en Nouvelle-Aquitaine (CINA)

The Poitiers Film Festival and the TAP Castille theater are organizing screenings for managers from the CINA network to enjoy preview showings of two films: La Grande Magie by Noémie Lvovsky and La Passagère by Héloïse Pelloquet. This day will also be an opportunity to discuss the Poitiers Film Festival’s program as a whole.

The Poitiers Film Festival is inviting industry professionals from the towns in Greater Poitiers (authors, production companies, cinema managers, technicians, festivals, etc.) for a day to discuss, discover new networks, and take stock of collaborative efforts in the region. This event includes an overview of the Jump In workshops and Full Circle Lab, a lunch cocktail and the possibility of professional meetings in the afternoon with guests attending the Festival
