SEE Factory

Organized by the producer Dominique Welinski since 2013, The Factory aims to bring new talents to the international stage. Each year, this programme enables 5 filmmakers to co-write and co-direct a short abroad, alongside a filmmaker in an host country. The shorts were presented at Cannes at the opening of the Directors’ Fortnight until then. In the footsteps of Lucie La Chimia (scouted in 2015 for the 2017 Lebanon Factory) and Mehdi Hamnane for the 2018 Tunisia Factory, Dominique Welinski choose regularly from among the Jump In filmmakers one of those who will have the chance to participate to the next residency.
