The family circle is the most-commonly dealt with theme among film students. It is a universal subject, and its field is boundless. Many short films tackle the question of sibling relations, either conflictual or intensely close. The younger generation looks at its parents’ generation with a critical gaze, but one that remains tender. We quarrel, we shout, but we understand one another and we lend a helping hand.
