20-year-old Yuri lives with his aunt in a small town in the Abruzzo region. One day, he meets Agostino, a traveling entertainer who offers him a job as his assistant and promises a kind of independence he had never imagined possible.

Simone Bozzelli
Simone Bozzelli – born in Silvi (TE) in 1994 – graduated in 2017 with a degree in Media Design and Multimedia Arts from NABA and in 2020 with a degree in Directing from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. His first short films, My Brother and Loris is Fine, were featured in numerous international festivals. His third short film, Amateur, was presented in competition at the 34th Venice International Film Critics’ Week, while the subsequent J’ador won the top prize at the 35th edition of the same festival. In 2021, he directed the music video for Måneskin’s I Wanna Be Your Slave, which won the MTV Music Award for Best Alternative Video the following year. His fifth short film, Playtime, was presented at the 74th Locarno Film Festival. His first feature film, Patagonia, was selected for the International Competition at the 76th Locarno Film Festival. He is currently writing his second feature film.
