Presentation
Sicily, 1965. Lia is beautiful, headstrong, and knows what she wants. Lorenzo, the son of a local boss, attempts to seduce her. When she rejects him, he flies into a rage and decides to take her by force. Instead of accepting a forced marriage, Lia takes him to court and paves the way for the fight for women’s rights.
