The Residency La Fémis

The Residency is a 2-year training program created in 2015 by La F.mis. Accessible with or without a high school diploma, each year the Residency welcomes 4 young filmmakers of modest means, cinema aficionados, autodidacts, or amateurs who already have one work under their belt to accompany them in their desire to join the professional stage. Depending on resources, the selected students receive a living stipend throughout their studies.

Each year, the Poitiers Film Festival’s Jump In program welcomes a filmmaker from the La Fémis Residency to its workshops regarding the development of a feature film.
