Kristina Buožytė
Kristina Buožytė was born in 1982. She was initially interested in theater directing, and then turned to film, directing several short films that stood out in festivals. In 2008, she directed her first feature The Collectress, and began an invaluable collaboration with Bruno Samper, who became the co-writer of all her films. In 2012, she shot Vanishing Waves and then Vesper Chronicles (2022). This sci-fi film was selected at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival, where it won the Golden Raven for Best Film.
