Every year, during the Poitiers Film Festival, the TAP rolls out the red carpet for the new generation of filmmakers.
The theater hall is transformed into a movie theater to host previews, international selections, and film concerts. Around this nerve center, all the spaces come alive thanks to the dedication of the Scène nationale team: master classes in the auditorium, radio broadcasts, cocktails and dancefloors in the grand foyer, professional meetings in the studios, screenings of short films and unreleased films at the TAP cinema…
In 2025, the festival will shine a spotlight on contemporary Italian cinema, promising a revival in this great country of the 7th art. In a thematic cycle entitled “Faire famille” (Making a Family), it will focus on family ties and family recomposition, social issues that are currently inspiring French cinema.
And, as every year, it selects the best films by film students from around the world. Join the hundred or so guests, emerging and established filmmakers, and the thousands of festival-goers to share this great moment of discovery, encounters, and celebration!
